Job Summary:

Ampere’s Learning & Curriculum Division advances the organization’s mission by developing and delivering culturally responsive, accessible, and high-quality educational programming for rural, remote, and Indigenous communities. We bridge the gap in STEAM education by co-designing innovative tools, resources, and curricula with our community partners, ensuring that our work fosters discovery and empowers learners at every age and stage of life.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and populate centralized spreadsheets to organize curriculum content for adaptation, translation, and design workflows.
- Review educational materials to identify sections requiring cultural, linguistic, or curricular adaptation.
- Draft and revise adapted content, ensuring alignment with project goals and internal feedback.Integrate translated content into Digital Lesson slides using Google Slides.

Attributes and Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of completed university coursework, a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of Education and experience.
- Current enrollment or recent graduation from a post-secondary program in Education, Indigenous Studies, Communications, or a related field is an asset.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Sheets and Docs,



and experience with project management tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- A strong interest in STEAM education and community-based learning initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid team environment.
- Understanding of, or interest in learning about, cultural protocols and responsive design in educational content.

Ampere prioritizes the safety of our employees and the community members we work with, because of this we may require both new hires and current team members to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).
