Reporting to the regional Team Lead Lending, the Lending Associate is responsible for supporting the lending team with all lending administrative responsibilities. This includes the collection of client information, the preparation of loan submissions and documents and ongoing portfolio administration. With a dedicated focus on lending, incumbents will strengthen their lending acumen and develop a deep understanding of client needs.

In this role you will work with lenders and clients with a focus on creating a seamless and efficient client experiences.
A Lending Associate will be immersed in the entire lending process which provides chance to advance into a Relationship Manager Lending Role. What will you be responsible for? As a Lending Associate you will be responsible for supporting a group of lenders with loan administration from basic to moderately complex functions i.e. payout requests, collection of financial statement information, client queries.
You will also contribute to a positive client experience by engaging with clients on a proactive basis regarding loan program questions, administration follow up and regular check ins.
In this role you will also look for ways to improve the lending process and will work with cross functional teams to optimize lending tasks.
You will also support the team in the coordination and planning of workflows across the lending group by collaborating with the CSR team, loan compliance and processing and verification. What are we looking for from you? To be successful in this role you will need a high level of lending acumen.
You should have an in depth understanding of the lending process and be adept with current systems and processes.
Given you will be working with multiple lenders, clients and competing priorities, you will need excellent planning and organizational skills.
As a Lending Associate you will need to be committed to providing an excellent client experience by providing in depth, accurate, timely answers.
Qualifications: College Diploma with 3 years of related experience
OR University Degree with 1 years of related experience
