SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 43 (COQUITLAM) Invites Applications For MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR Temporary Full Time (40 hrs/week) An exciting chance exists within the Maintenance Department for a Maintenance Coordinator. As the third largest school district in B.C. and located in the Tri-Cities of Metro Vancouver, the school district has a population of 32,000 students with approximately 4,300 teaching, administrative, managerial and support staff. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Operations/Manager of Maintenance and is responsible for coordinating the technical work and performing drafting duties in the Facilities Department of the school district.

Qualifications Include Constructions Technology Diploma from a recognized college/institution Knowledge of the methods, materials and specifications involved in renovation, repair and construction of buildings, facilities,



and grounds Blueprint reading and C.A.D.D systems Or other related post-secondary certificate program followed by one-year related experience Knowledge of cost accounting statistics One year of architectural drafting experience Applicants are advised they must successfully complete two criminal record checks prior to hiring. The successful candidate works 40 hours per week (8:00am to 4:30pm) and the rate of pay is $34.51 per hour + 16% in lieu of benefits.
