We are looking for a Maintenance Millwright to join our dynamic team at Trophy Foods. This position is for an existing vacancy and offers the opportunity to:

Shift & Working Hours: Day Shift (6:45pm-3:00pm) Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Practice safe work habits. Comply with all applicable legislative and Trophy Foods health and safety, food safety, LOTO and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs.
- Service, clean, and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production and plant equipment both electrical and mechanical and keep maintenance records.
- Strong knowledge of pumps encompassing both rebuilding as well as validating and setting alignments




- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics to determine layout of industrial mechanical equipment installations.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors and pneumatic electrical control systems.
- Ensure that work area is always clean of debris and hazards and check work area for such hazards upon arrival and when departing each area of work. Strong sense of pride in work with a “right the first time” mentality
- Interact with all employees in a positive manner and promote an engaged working setting.
- Ability to handle a sporadic demand workload, alone if needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Experience, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements:

- Must have Millwright (443A) license with Red Seal designation a bonus
- 1 to 3 years' industrial, electrical or mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Welding skills highly preferred with TIG being the most sought after. Fabrication skills a bonus (i.e. experience with lathe, press, etc.).
- Experience with maintenance computer software as well as independence to accurately complete part requests.
- Some automation (PLC, VFD, Servo, HMI) experience would be an asset.
- Good communication skills with high energy, respect for diversity, reliability, and a can-do/team-first attitude.
- Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a rapid-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required.
