Manager, Mining Sales Finance Support

Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of a leading organization in the heavy equipment sector for a Manager, Mining Sales Finance Support .

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for optimizing sales operations, forecasting, reporting, equipment financing support, and sales administration processes that drive mining equipment sales performance across the business.

Reporting to the Vice President, Mining Equipment Sales, the successful candidate will lead a high-performing sales support team while partnering closely with sales, finance, OEM partners, and executive leadership to improve commercial effectiveness, support revenue growth, and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Sales Support Operations

- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the Mining Sales Support team.
- Establish priorities, performance expectations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance culture.

Drive Sales Process Excellence
- Oversee equipment sales administration, pricing governance, quotations, and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support effective deal structuring and margin management.
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Forecasting, Reporting & Business Insights
- Lead sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, KPI tracking, and business performance analysis.
- Support budgeting and financial planning activities through data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Deliver meaningful reporting to executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Equipment Financing Leadership
- Support the development and execution of financing solutions that enhance sales competitiveness.




- Collaborate with financial institutions and internal stakeholders on financing programs and complex transactions.
- Provide expertise on financing structures, risk considerations, and customer solutions.

Stakeholder & OEM Partnership Management
- Act as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership.
- Manage relationships with OEM partners and support pricing, supply chain, and quote management initiatives.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment to meet customer commitments and business objectives.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial finance, equipment sales, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, reporting, sales operations, and business analytics.
- Knowledge of equipment financing, leasing, credit, or related financial solutions.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze data and present recommendations to senior leaders.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems such as CRM platforms and financial planning tools.
- A CPA or CFA designation is considered an asset!
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States as required.
