We are seeking an entrepreneurial Market Development Lead to spearhead Qiri's expansion into the Canadian market. Role Overview
As the Market Development Lead for Canada, you will be responsible for establishing and growing Qiri's presence across Canada. This is a high-impact role that combines business development, partnerships, and strategic planning. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the founding team. Responsibilities
Develop and execute Qiri's go-to-market strategy for Canada
Build relationships with key stakeholders in the Canadian pharmacy and healthcare ecosystem, including pharmacy chains, industry associations, and regulatory bodies
Secure pilot customers and commercial contracts with pharmacies to drive adoption of Kova
Provide market intelligence and feedback to guide product localization and regulatory compliance
Represent Qiri at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness
Support fundraising efforts by leveraging your network to make warm introductions to Canadian healthtech investors
Recruit and manage a local team as the business scales Requirements
7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships or sales in the Canadian healthcare, pharmacy or healthtech sector
Proven track record of launching and scaling healthcare or healthtech products in Canada
Deep understanding of the Canadian pharmacy market, regulatory landscape, and reimbursement pathways
Extensive network within the Canadian healthcare and investor ecosystem
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity
Willing to travel within Canada
Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree in business, healthcare or related field preferred Benefits
