Position: Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Manager, Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Coordinator assists with the development and execution of marketing campaigns for Vancouver Canucks Community, Retail, People & Fan Experience initiatives. As a key member of the Marketing Team, they build effective working relationships with stakeholders and leverage both internal and external resources to deliver campaign objectives. This is term position covering a maternity leave.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

(Other duties may be assigned from time to time)

- Support with the strategic planning, production, and execution of marketing campaign supporting the Vancouver Canucks.
- Assist in the building of marketing plans that deliver on campaign objectives and ensuring all campaign touchpoints are aligned to brand standards and quality expectations.
- Liaise with in-house Content, Design, and Digital teams to build strategic, compelling briefs that deliver desired outcomes (i.e., lead generation, market awareness, fundraising, etc.)
- Use best practices like workback schedules, RACI charts, and project charters to ensure campaigns and collateral are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Supporting in the approvals process, ensuring final sign-off is received efficiently and coordinating revisions as necessary.




- Actively participate in regular team meetings ensuring your activities are well-coordinated with other initiatives and that any risks, issues, or conflicts are collaboratively managed

YOU HAVE:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as marketing or business management
- At least one year of experience in a similar marketing/agency role
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including social media, display, SEM, etc.
- A proven ability to make critical data-driven decisions independently
- Experience prioritizing the use of limited resources to optimize results and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Able to work the occasional evening or weekends as required
- Onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver
