We are looking for a Meat Cutter to join our Brookswood location in Langley, BC.

Open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Create a positive and professional experience by greeting and assisting every customer with inquiries and concerns.

- Prepare standard cuts of meats with the use of knives and tools.

- Ensure all items are wrapped & packaged, covered, labelled, rotated, and well stocked.

- Share product knowledge and recommendations with customers.

- Assist customers with product requests and special orders.

- Support the Meat Department Manager with ordering, processing invoices, and training and educating team members.





- Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.

- Clean equipment and workstation to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.

- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience.

- The ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Retail meat cutting experience and/or journeyperson certification is considered an asset.

Candidates may be eligible for a position-specific premium of up to $2.00 per hour, in addition to their regular hourly wage.

Compensation Details:

$18.50 - $24.00The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
