Looking for a reliable, hardworking Mechanic Assistant/Laborer to join the team at this thriving and reputable gravel company that specializes in construction and aggregate supply and hauling.

Duties Include:

- Preventative Maintenance.
- Assist in Truck and trailer repairs.
- Assist in heavy-duty equipment service and repair.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.
- Other duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

- Valid driver's license, minimum Class 5.
- Mechanic Apprenticeship an asset but not required.
- The willingness to learn and work hard is an asset.
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Health and Safety Knowledge—OH&S; rules and regulations guidelines.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

- Daily maintenance.
- Assist the Lead mechanic in various repairs.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities.
- Follow procedures and guidelines.
- Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work workplace.
- Attend company training and safety programs as required.
