About the role you are considering:

We are seeking a highly motivated, adaptive, and self-managing DevOps Engineer with a strong technology background to support our global Development and Business teams. This role will be instrumental in driving our DevOps initiatives, including infrastructure migration activities, and ensuring seamless delivery and operation of multi-tiered, microservice based applications.

Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain robust automated CI/CD pipelines, covering Build, Deploy, and Release lifecycles, and ensuring adherence to branching models.

Support: Provide daily support for essential DevOps tools, DevOps build and deployment issues in .Net Core, Mongo and Angular environments.

System Administration: Perform system administration tasks, including setting up and configuring Linux/Windows Servers, Kubernetes, and Redhat OpenShift environments.

Access Management: Administer access provisioning and management for DevOps tools, GitHub, Bitbucket and TFS along with functional IDs support for applications.

Change Management: Integrate change management processes (e.g. ServiceNow) with DevOps setups to enable automated change validation.

Patching & Compliance: Coordinate and support regular vulnerability and compliance patching for operating systems and other software components.

Key & Certificate Management: Handle requests for new keys/certificates, including their management within Key Vault.

Infrastructure Migrations: Manage and support infrastructure migrations for various DevOps components.

Technical Skills & Experience

Experience Level: Minimum of 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting DevOps functions.

Architecture & Frameworks: Deep understanding and practical experience in supporting multi-tiered, microservice based applications developed with .NET, Angular, Kafka, Redis, Mongo, and SQL Server Databases.

Container Orchestration & Management: Expertise in system administration, managing clusters, deploying, managing, and scaling applications using Kubernetes and Redhat OpenShift.

CI/CD Pipeline Design & Implementation:



Hands-on experience with Version Control & Repository Management tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, etc. and Tekton, uDeploy, Harness, Autosys, TFS, TeamCity, Jenkins for automating build, test, and deployment processes.

Artifact & Dependency Management: Experience in setting up and maintaining Artifactory and Maven for efficient artifact storage and retrieval, and Nuget for .NET specific package management.

Quality & Security Integration: Well-versed in integrating NUnit and SonarQube for code quality, testing and implementing REST API Testing within the CI/CD pipeline.

Networking & Security Configuration: Experience in configuring and managing Firewall rules, VPNs, VNETs, Load balancers (VIP), and securing sensitive data using Key Vault and CyberArk.

Monitoring & Logging Solutions: Proficient in setting up, configuring, and utilizing ITRS Monitoring, App Dynamics, Kibana, and Splunk for comprehensive application and infrastructure observability.

Automation, Scripting & IaC: Strong expertise in creating and maintaining automation scripts using Shell, PowerShell, uDeploy scripting, Ansible, YAML and Terraform for infrastructure management, provisioning and configuration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

An adaptive mindset with a strong willingness to learn recent technologies and methodologies, having problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently as a self-managing technocrat. Disclaimers
