Part-Time Bookkeeper – QuickBooks Online Specialist

TAC Renovations is a family-operated, high-end residential renovation company with 45 years in business, serving clients across Greater Montreal with a focus on Westmount and Hampstead. We specialize in custom finishes, full-home transformations, kitchens, bathrooms, and bespoke millwork. We run small, dedicated crews across two to three active jobs at a time, and we hold our work to an uncompromising standard.

Position Overview

We're looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper with expert-level QuickBooks Online skills to manage our day-to-day financials and keep us compliant with Quebec's remittance and filing requirements. This is a part time, hybrid role: in-person three days a week for the first three months to get fully up to speed on our systems and workflow, transitioning to in-person only as needed after that.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Prepare and submit monthly DAS (source deduction remittances)
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST/QST filings




- Handle general bookkeeping and day-to-day financial record-keeping

Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Proven experience with AR/AP management
- Experience preparing and filing DAS and GST/QST remittances
- Bilingual preferred, but strong English, both written and spoken, is required

Nice to Have
- Experience in the renovation or construction industry, or with business models using cost-plus billing
- Experience integrating QuickBooks Online with other software platforms (e.g., project management or CRM tools)
- Experience working with small businesses, including financial reporting, forecasting, and providing strategic insights
