Join the BC Centre for Ability as a Speech-Language Pathologist focused on pediatric assessments. Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance communication and swallowing capabilities in children with developmental delays. In this role, you will utilize advanced clinical skills within a community-based program, providing assessments, diagnostics, and interventions.
Work closely with families to deliver psychoeducation and consultation on speech and language diagnoses while contributing to collaborative efforts with an interdisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnostics for communication disorders
- Provide psychoeducation and counseling to families
- Collaborate within an inter-qualified team on treatment protocols
- Evaluate and mentor students and support staff
- Maintain detailed clinical records as per regulations Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion of BCAAN ADOS-2 course
- Experience in pediatrics or community programs
- Training in Motivational Interviewing preferred
- Registration with CHCPBC required Utilize your expertise in speech-language pathology to support the developmental goals of children at the BC Centre for Ability.
