Position: Performance Architect – Digital Banking Contract: 12+ Months

Workplace type: Remote (PST Hours) Strategy & Governan ce• Define and own the performance testing strategy and framework for the entire Digital Banking program (Web/Mobile, Middleware, Core Banking

).

- Establish program-wide SLAs/KPIs (e.g., response time, throughput, concurrency, TPS, latency, error rates) aligned with business & regulatory commitment s.
- Set up governance processes for workload modeling, test data management, setting readiness, and defect triag e.
- Ensure end-to-end coverage across channels (DEP web/mobile) $B"(B MuleSoft APIs $B"(B T24 transaction s.
- Build and maintain performance risk register to track program-level risks and mitigation action s.

Program Orchestrat ion• Coordinate performance test planning and execution across multiple agile workstreams and vendor tea ms.

- Drive integration of performance testing into release planning, ensuring coverage of major features, upgrades, and infrastructure chang es.
- Align with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Application teams on scalability planning, capacity needs, and performance tuni ng.
- Establish and oversee performance monitoring dashboards and observability standards for production-like validati on.





Leadership & Stakeholder Manage ment• Act as the single point of accountability for all performance testing activities across the Digital Banking prog ram.

- Provide executive-level reporting (dashboards, heatmaps, trend analysis) on system readiness and bottlene cks.
- Manage dependencies between frontend (DEP), middleware (MuleSoft), and backend (T24) teams to ensure coordinated performance improveme nts.
- Mentor and guide Performance Test Leads/Engineers across streams; define best practices, frameworks, and reusable accelerat ors.
- Facilitate Executive level reviews for critical performance test results and capacity planning outco mes.

Execution Over sight• Oversee design and execution of load, stress, endurance, and failover tests using JMeter, Selenium, Ap pium.

- Ensure test data provisioning at program scale for realistic, high-volume multi-channel workl oads.
- Direct root cause analysis of systemic bottlenecks and drive resolution across multiple teams (e.g., MuleSoft VM tuning, T24 DB performance, mobile app rendering iss ues).
- Ensure non-functional regression testing is embedded into every re lease
