Pipefitter Foreperson To work at our Air Products Field Project in Edmonton, AB.

- SALARY: $59.80
- DSP SALARY: $82.95
- BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP + CLAC Perks
- HOURS PER DAY: 10 Mon - Thurs, 8 Friday
- SHIFT: 5&2
- START DATE: ASAP
- PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
- DURATION: 6+ Months

Responsibilities:

- Supervise crew, mentorship, completion of documentation and safety paperwork
- Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings
- Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications
- Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard to reach areas




- Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
- Read and interpret drawings and blue prints
- May perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Must have 3 years minimum in a supervisory role
- Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Pipefitting ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Must have experience working at heights
- Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, WHMIS2015, ESC EWP, ESC Fall Protection,
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
