Duties
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver pizza orders to customers’ homes and businesses
- Ensure timely deliveries by planning efficient routes and managing delivery schedules
- Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery details and address any questions or concerns
- Handle heavy lifting of pizza boxes, bags, and other supplies with proper technique to prevent injury
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or loading supplies when needed, utilizing forklift or manual handling skills
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices during deliveries
Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly throughout the shift, demonstrating physical stamina and strength
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality environments preferred for engaging positively with customers
- Familiarity with warehouse operations or experience using forklifts is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Comfortable navigating using GPS or maps and managing multiple deliveries efficiently
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving equipment, and vehicle operation
