Working directly with the Portfolio Manager and Principal of this agile Wealth Management firm, the Financial Analyst, will utilize their knowledge of financial products and markets to proactively report and recommend changes and allocation of portfolios. Building out your knowledge of products and clients while also supporting the Portfolio Manager. The key responsibility is to provide timely and valuable data and reporting to support the firm in surpassing sales, service and activity targets.

Responsibilities

- Analyze financial data, portfolios and returns and provide recommendations for decision support

- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization

- Identify and drive process improvements,



including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools,

- Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence

- Consistently demonstrate effective management and prioritization of work and reporting

- Supports the activities and follow-up requirements of Portfolio Manager

- Embrace accountability and have an entrepreneurial mindset

Qualifications

· 0-3+ years of business finance or other relevant experience

· Strong fluency with Excel Formulas and functions

· University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics

· Strong analytical and data gathering skills

· Good business acumen

· An interest and curiosity in capital markets

· Successful completion of a financial services industry program course (i.e. CSC, IFIC, CFA, CFP, CIM).

· Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills

· Experience working with, and presenting to, senior executives and or clients
