President's Welcome

Welcome to Chabot College! For over 60 years, Chabot has helped students meet their academic, social, and employment dreams, goals and aspirations.

I am honored to start my presidency as Chabot’s 10th College President. I am humbled to lead our prestigious institution and excited about the tremendous potential in our programs and services as we aspire to be the best community college in the state.

Chabot College will start this academic year with a number of established and exciting new programs and resources such as our outstanding HSI STEM grant that promotes a STEM Summer Bridge program, offers embedded tutoring, work-based learning, and comprehensive student services, and encourages completion/transfer to STEM majors at 4-year universities. We are also developing a basic needs student success center, referred to as THE HUB, which will house our food pantry, student direct aid,



community resources, CAL Fresh Food assistance, and school supplies. Moreover, our academic offerings have expanded by increasing the number of online classes, non-credit, and dual enrollment offerings.

We are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and social justice as we provide an encouraging, inspiring, safe, and nurturing learning setting.
