Snap Printing & Labels is a locally owned boutique print shop serving businesses across the Okanagan Valley and beyond. We specialize in print, signage, and custom labels, and we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our production team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working with both machinery and computers. You’ll primarily be assisting with label production and bindery in our shop.
This is a physical, active role — you’ll be on your feet most of the day, lifting materials, loading media, and helping keep production moving efficiently.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM - 12:00PM - flexible part time on an as needed basis agreed upon by both parties.
Responsibilities
- Perform bindery and finishing tasks including cutting, folding, collating, laminating, and assembling printed materials
- Count, sort, and package completed orders for shipping or customer pickup
- Assist with hand-finishing projects such as gluing, padding, tabbing, and labeling
- Organize printed materials and prepare jobs for final production and fulfillment
- Operate and assist with label and print production equipment
- Load and unload media rolls and materials
- Prepare files and jobs for print production
- Monitor print quality and inspect finished products
- Maintain clean and organized production areas
- Troubleshoot minor issues as they arise
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines

- Valuable hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Takes pride in producing neat, high-quality finished products
- Willingness to learn bindery equipment and finishing techniques through on-the-job training
- Ability to follow written work orders and production instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of lifting materials and standing for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Valuable problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred (but not required)
- Previous print shop, production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
- Experience working with printers, RIP software, or production equipment
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or file handling
