About Us McArthur River - McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at McArthur River is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
Position And Responsibilities
Responsible for operating circuits as per outlined procedures and guidelines.
Identifying, documenting and reporting any operational and maintenance concerns in order to support continual improvement throughout the operation.
Work as part of a team who look out for one another and collaborate to improve performance.
Education And Qualifications Requirements of the position: grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
one year of mill operation work experience and industrial water treatment experience,
preference given to those with uranium mill experience;
certified in water treatment plant;
equivalent combination of education and experience considered;
valid class 5 driver’s license;
strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills;
required to work both on surface and underground; and work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft. Assets potable water treatment experience; and level 1 and 2 potable water treatment and level 1 wastewater treatment certification.
