Role: Sr. UX Designer + Business Analyst (Hybrid)

Location: Canada – Remote

Contract Role

Exp: 8 years

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer + Business Analyst (Hybrid Role) who can effectively bridge the gap between user experience design and business analysis. The ideal candidate will translate complex business requirements into intuitive, user-centered digital solutions while ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

This role requires a strong blend of UX expertise, analytical thinking, requirements engineering, and stakeholder management skills , along with the ability to drive clarity across product, design, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

UX Design Responsibilities

- Understand product specifications, business goals, and user requirements.
- Conduct user research, usability studies, and competitive analysis.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and usability insights.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models aligned with user needs.
- Collaborate with UI designers to deliver visually consistent and intuitive interfaces.
- Define UX success metrics and evaluate usability outcomes.
- Identify and resolve UX issues related to usability, accessibility, and findability.
- Communicate design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and development teams.
- Ensure end-to-end consistency of user experience across platforms.




- Use tools such as Figma (preferred) or equivalent design tools for prototyping and design delivery.

Business Analyst Responsibilities

- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT/engineering teams.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Perform gap analysis and translate findings into actionable requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Ensure transparent communication of business needs to technical teams.
- Participate in solution design, validation, and system walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with UX teams to ensure usability and UI alignment within system design.
- Support project delivery through documentation, reviews, and process alignment.
- Develop reports and dashboards that translate business data into actionable insights.

Required Technical & Domain Skills

- Strong understanding of:
- Business Analysis principles and best practices
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
- Working knowledge of:
- Programming fundamentals
- Relational databases
- Client-server architecture
- Basic to intermediate understanding of:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Proficiency in:
- UX tools (Figma preferred)

Documentation and visualization tools (flowcharts, wireframes, process maps
