Functional/Technical
Accountable to (Integrated) Project Delivery Team for timely data and information regarding the status of all aspects of the project’s quality assurance and quality control and providing recommendations for resolving any non-compliance and/or issues
Responsible for the application of CPG Quality Management System including project specific plans, processes and procedures and guides as extensions to and consistent with the CPG Quality Management System including the continual improvement cycle drawing on previous experience and industry practice
Responsible for the Project Quality Management Plan detailing the objectives of the project as consistent with CPG strategy and objectives and in alignment with the (Integrated) Project Delivery Team and Senior Manager, CP Quality Management
Responsible for the identification, development, reporting and analysis of quality metrics and managing agreed key performance indicators for the project including quality management system performance
Responsible for development and training (Integrated) Project Delivery Team on Project Quality Assurance Plan, CPG
Quality Management System and Continual Improvement by way of, but not limited to, workshops, courses, online education and orientation (onboarding) of (Integrated) Project Delivery Team members
Responsible for the assurance, management and review of 2nd Party contracted quality submissions, e.g. ITPs
Responsible for the review and approval of Quality control site reports and test results, ensuring all documentation meets project quality assurance plan requirements and industry standards.
Responsible for ensuring all quality control inspections, testing and site visits are conducted as per Quality assurance plan requirements.
Responsible for the identification, resolution or escalation of quality issues
Customer/Stakeholder
Works strategically, develops and cultivates key relationships with a wide number of internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to contracted parties, government, agencies and/or communities to aid in the successful delivery of the Project Quality Assurance Plan
Pro-active participant in project delivery management meetings,
presentations and committees and quality management functional meetings, presentations and committees
Acts as an ambassador and liaison for the client as necessary
Communicates and provides support to both internal and external clients to enhance and achieve organizational goals
Liaises with internal departments regarding operational issues or improvements, and provides Quality subject matter expertise to management team on as required basis
Operational Excellence
Fosters a safe and healthy work environment and complies with health, safety and environmental standards that meet or exceed legislated requirements
Establishes and maintains quality assurance and control on assigned project(s) ensuring deficiencies are addressed promptly and minimizes corporate liability by working with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risk and resolve issues
Develops and implements effective quality assurance strategies and tactics supported by data driven analysis and observed, rationalized industry practices
Recommends change to policy, plan, process or standards for continual improvement and to advance excellence in project management practices
Drives innovation by reviewing and analyzing processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
Remains current on trends, behaviors and industry practices
Financial Stewardship
Identifies potential risks and risk mitigation activities to inform budget, estimating and forecasting functions
Manages resource budget for Project Quality Assurance Lead, Senior Quality Assurance Coordinators (SQACs) and Quality Control Coordinators assigned to the project and expenses within the role’s scope and budget
Develops and maintains departmental budget, ensures adherence to budget constraints, analyzes variances, scrutinizes expenditures, and approves payments and takes appropriate action to ensure budget is at or under plan within the role’s scope
Assesses and determines required workforce planning requirements to perform and maintain service levels, identifies budget constraints and overall impact on financial resources within the role’s scope
Prepares and monitors annual budget and submits a business plan regarding budget related expenditures within the role’s scope
People Leadership
Directly manages up to 10 individuals performing quality assurance and quality control related tasks, manages the work of contractors assigned to the team and maintains engagement of consulting support
Provides leadership and direction to staff and project team (e.g. defines team member roles, responsibilities and expectations) including coaching and mentoring to ensure the quality and consistency of work
Manages staff performance to ensure adherence to timelines and objectives while addressing any performance gaps through correcting actions and timely feedback to ensure a cohesive operational unit

Minimum of 12 years of experience in Consulting in area of specialty
Minimum of 8 years of progressive senior leadership experience and related experience in Quality Assurance
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Certified QMS 2015 Auditor or have experience in a similar quality management representative role for a transit project of a similar scope to this Project and have successfully completed an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course A firm understanding of and experience in Engineering and Construction procedures, principles, and concepts A working knowledge of ISO 9001 and its application in Engineering and Construction projects
Demonstrable exceptional technical skill in quality assurance and quality control in project management/construction industry including the creation and delivery of detailed Project Quality Assurance Plan including quality control
Highly skilled in quality assurance and quality control theory, principles and practice
Comprehensive understanding of broader project management theory, principles and practice
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
Must maintain career development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience in overseeing implementation of Quality program based on ISO 9001:2015 structuring
Experience with conducting Internal and External Audits based on ISO 9001:2015 Standard Requirements
Experience with NCR Management and verify implementation of the corrective action
Tact to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tension
Capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacity
Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving workplace by ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellence
Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
Proven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
