You identify, document, and track defects and issues using tools (i.e. JIRA, GitHub Issues, etc.) and collaborate closely with team members to resolve them

You consult the team on accessible design solutions while adhering to best practices and responsive design principles.

Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, and UAT testing.

Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation.

Identify, track, and verify software defects throughout the product lifecycle.

Conduct API testing using Postman (or similar tools) and database validation using SQL.

Contribute to automation efforts and continuously improve QA processes.

Analyze test results and generate detailed reports, highlighting trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with developers, designers and clients to improve software quality of web and mobile applications What you bring to the table

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Toronto, In-person

1–2+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience working with cross functional teams and/or stakeholders

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.

Hands-on experience with API testing and defect management.

Experience with test management and issue tracking tools such as Jira, Testiny, and GitHub Issues.

Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar is a plus.
