Position: R&D; Manager Reports to: Director, R&D; We are looking for an R&D; Manager to join our Silver Hills R&D; team! We are looking for an experienced Research and Development Manager to manage our skilled team of R&D; Technologists and Bakers. You will work on innovative R&D; Projects that contribute to the long-term success of Silver Hills and our Gluten Free line.

skills You have a Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline You have knowledge of the structure and chemistry of food and food production processes
You have proven success in formulation, process development, process improvement, and innovation
You have an understanding of food microbiology principles, typical spoilage organisms, and control strategies
You have database management skills and can formulate complex reports You have knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems and Quality Management Systems
You have solid computer skills including MS Office Suite Experience 5 years+ R&D; experience in the food industry
3 years+ experience in managing or leading a team of employees in R&D; or Production
You have experience managing complex and strategic projects Nice-to-Have Diploma or certificate in Project Management
