Spire Refrigeration is looking for a full-time Refrigeration Technician (Journeyperson or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice), based in the Lower Mainland, B.C. Reporting to the leadership team, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality HVAC and refrigeration service, maintenance, and installations while ensuring strong client communication and detailed documentation. More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:





Performing service, maintenance, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial, industrial, and agricultural sites

Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues to ensure timely and effective resolutions

Communicating clearly with clients to explain issues, solutions, and recommendations

Maintaining detailed and accurate service documentation and paperwork

Providing client-centered service with a focus on minimizing downtime

Building strong client relationships through professionalism and integrity

Identifying opportunities to add value through proactive recommendations

Collaborating with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service

Participating in an on-call rotation and responding to service requests as needed

Working overtime during peak seasons such as summer and cold snaps

Upholding safety standards and company procedures on all job sites

Contributing to a positive, growth-focused team culture About You To qualify, you will need to be a Journeyperson Refrigeration Technician or a 3rd/4th Year Apprentice. A valid driver's license and flexibility in hours for occasional on-call, evenings, weekends, or shut-downs are required. Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:





Experience working across commercial, industrial, and/or agricultural environments

Robust troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities

Familiarity with installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems

Experience handling service documentation and reporting As our ideal candidate, you will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build trust with clients, along with a high level of attention to detail and organization. You are reliable, take pride in your work, and consistently act with integrity.
