Role Description The Registered Kinesiologist will provide client-centered care through assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic exercise and movement programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting functional and musculoskeletal assessments, designing individualized rehabilitation and injury-prevention programs, and monitoring client progress through regular follow-up sessions. The role also involves documenting care in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards, educating clients on safe movement and lifestyle strategies, and collaborating with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes.





This is a part-time, in office role based at United Health Clinic in Coquitlam, BC, requiring consistent in-person presence and engagement with clients and the clinical team.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement evidence-based exercise and movement programs.

Knowledge of Physical Therapy principles and Prevention strategies, including injury prevention, postural education, and functional conditioning.

Understanding of Medicine concepts relevant to musculoskeletal health, functional assessment, and interdisciplinary care.

Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Kinesiologist with the appropriate regulatory body in British Columbia.

Demonstrated ability to assess clients, document clinical findings, and communicate clearly with clients and healthcare teams.

Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a client-centered approach to care.

Experience in outpatient or clinic-based rehabilitation settings is an asset.

CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with electronic medical records are considered beneficial.
