We’re looking for an RVT who enjoys surgery, diagnostics, teamwork, and providing exceptional care to patients and their families.
Duties
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in accurate diagnosis
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery during surgical procedures to ensure safety and comfort
- Collect samples for laboratory testing, ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Maintain detailed medical records, update patient histories, and communicate treatment plans effectively
- Support client education by explaining procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive health measures
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment areas
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to ensure readiness for daily operations
Qualifications
- Valid license or certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
