Role Description This is a contract, on-site Reliability Engineer role based in Logan Lake, BC.

The Reliability

Engineer will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to analyze equipment performance, identify failure modes, and develop strategies to improve asset reliability and availability. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting root cause and failure analysis, implementing reliability centered maintenance (RCM) programs, and supporting troubleshooting efforts for critical systems and equipment. The role will also involve collecting and interpreting reliability data, preparing technical reports and recommendations, and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and execute improvement initiatives.

Engineer is expected to contribute to continuous improvement, support safety and compliance standards, and help optimize maintenance planning and scheduling activities.

Qualifications Strong foundation in Reliability Engineering, with practical experience applying reliability principles to industrial equipment and systems.

Advanced Analytical Skills to collect, interpret, and present reliability data, including experience with data analysis tools or software.

Hands-on experience in Failure Analysis, including root cause investigation, corrective action development, and documentation of findings.

Proficiency in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), including development and implementation of maintenance strategies and task optimization.

Effective Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues, with a systematic approach to problem solving.

Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in mining or heavy industrial environments, with understanding of safety regulations and asset management practices.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and management teams.

Proven ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within contract timelines.

Professional engineering designation (P.Eng. or eligibility) and familiarity with reliability standards and best practices are considered assets.
