Resident Manager (Live-In Position)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: On-Call

Compensation: Base compensation with additional commission pay

Location: On-site residency required

Start Date: Position to be filled by September 1st

We are currently seeking a Resident Manager for a building within our property portfolio. This is a live-in position and is ideally suited for a responsible individual, couple, or two-person team with strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Show available units to prospective tenants and collect rental applications
- Deliver notices and other official communications to tenants as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of the building and surrounding property
- Report maintenance issues and other concerns to the Property Manager
- Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including completion of condition reports
- Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries and concerns
- Work effectively with contractors, tradespeople,



and service providers
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including laundry rooms and outdoor grounds
- Required: Perform seasonal maintenance such as snow shoveling and basic lawn care
- Conduct minor building upkeep, including changing light bulbs or minor repairs
- Serve as the liaison between tenants and property management
- Use a smartphone/computer for communication, documentation, and photo sharing

Qualifications:

- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable using email, texting, and taking photos via smartphone
- Prior experience in property management or maintenance is an asset
- A Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check will be required prior to final hiring

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
