Under the supervision of the Showroom Manager, She / He is responsible for supporting the client in his process of choosing renovation materials including flooring, ceramic, porcelain, vinyl, bathroom supplies, installation products, advising them on the products that meet their needs. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Welcome customers and provide a professional showroom experience. Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
Assist customers with selecting porcelain tiles, SPC flooring, hardwood flooring, kitchen cabinets, bathroom products, and renovation materials. Prepare quotations, sales orders, and invoices. Follow up on quotations to convert them into sales.
Upsell and cross-sell complementary products and accessories. Build long-term relationships with retail customers, contractors, designers, and builders. Maintain strong knowledge of all products, pricing, promotions, and inventory.
Explain product features, perks, installation methods, and maintenance requirements. Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually appealing. Ensure product displays are properly stocked and labeled.
Update promotional signage and displays as required. Process customer orders accurately using the company's POS/ERP system. Coordinate with the warehouse regarding product availability and order preparation.
Schedule deliveries and customer pickups. Respond promptly to phone calls, emails,
and walk-in inquiries. Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
Process payments, deposits, refunds, and exchanges according to company policy. Work closely with warehouse staff, managers, and other sales associates.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service and sales abilities. Basic computer proficiency (POS/ERP, Microsoft Office). Ability to work in a fast-paced retail workplace.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to lift product samples (up to approximately 25 lbs) when required. Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Previous retail sales experience in flooring, tiles, kitchen, bathroom, or building materials is considered a strong asset.
