Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based at Toronto Kia in Toronto, ON.
The Sales
Representative will greet and engage customers, assess their needs, and present suitable recent and used Kia vehicles, features, and options.
Responsibilities include conducting test drives, explaining financing and leasing options, preparing and completing sales and lease documentation, and coordinating with finance and service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. The role also involves following up with prospective and existing customers, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, and meeting individual and dealership sales targets.
The Sales
Representative will contribute to the showroom’s appearance, stay current on Kia product knowledge and promotions,
and uphold Toronto Kia’s standards for professional, friendly, and ethical customer service.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond to customer needs.
Sales and negotiation skills, including experience closing deals, handling objections, and working toward sales targets or quotas.
Clear verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting vehicle features and explaining pricing and financing options.
Basic financial and administrative skills to support lease/finance discussions, complete paperwork accurately, and use CRM or dealership management systems.
Time management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple customers, follow up on leads, and manage appointments efficiently.
Comfort working in a quick-paced, customer-facing retail or dealership environment, including evenings and weekends as required.
Knowledge of or interest in the automotive industry; previous dealership or retail sales experience is an asset.
Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record and eligibility to conduct test drives.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
Ability to work inclusively with diverse customers and team members, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
