Introduction

Robertson is seeking a skilled Scala Spark Developer to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate: Starting from $102 per hour

Location : Toronto, ON

Location Type: Hybrid

Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core Business Hours

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop, enhance, unit test and optimize data pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark
- Implement transformations, aggregations, and calculations required for liquidity reporting
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale data processing jobs
- Integrate data from multiple source systems (e.g., transactional, risk, financial data)
- Apply data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms
- Support deployment, code reviews, and production issue resolution
- Adhere to enterprise development standards, security, and governance policies

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

- 5-10 years of Scala Spark developer experience

- Strong communication skills
- Banking/Regulatory reporting in Banking preferred





- Liquidity reporting preferred
