Job Title: Senior Network Consultant

Location: Edmonton, AB (Onsite)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Full-Time)

Pay Rate: $75 - $80/hour Inc.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Consultant to join a Service Delivery team supporting multiple client projects. The successful candidate will design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions while building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

- Design network solutions based on business and technical requirements, security, governance, disaster recovery, and infrastructure needs.
- Design and implement standard or customized network solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, software, and infrastructure issues, including participation in operational escalations.
- Implement network and system security measures to protect infrastructure and data.
- Create technical documentation, including:
- Conceptual, logical, and physical designs
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- As-built diagrams
- Knowledge transfer documentation
- FAQs
- Transition-to-Operations documentation
- Gather customer requirements and translate them into effective network solutions.




- Assess existing network environments and recommend improvements to architecture, configurations, and hardware/software.

What You Must Have:

- 5+ years of experience designing and deploying enterprise network solutions.
- Strong networking and security experience.
- Experience providing support, maintenance, and knowledge transfer for implemented solutions.
- Ability to perform network assessments and provide design recommendations.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
