The Principal

Planner/Supervisor oversees a professional team focused on housing policy and planning. You will be responsible for directing strategies that align with provincial legislation while fostering stakeholder partnerships.

Your role ensures effective delivery of plans, programs, and initiatives as well as collaboration with various governmental levels. Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and direct professional planning staff
- Lead the Housing Brampton Strategy and related initiatives
- Monitor project workflows and provide guidance to staff
- Coordinate external funding opportunities and partnerships
- Prepare reports for Council and public consultations Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Planning or equivalent
- Minimum six years of progressive planning experience
- Advanced knowledge of the Housing Services Act
- Expertise in public sector and unionized environments
- Full membership with the Ontario Skilled Planners Institute Drive policy implementation and team success in shaping Brampton's housing future.
