Our client is seeking an experienced construction professional to oversee multiple large-scale building projects and provide technical, operational, and project engineering leadership across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage multiple construction projects and support Operations teams with project engineering expertise.
- Participate in preconstruction activities, constructability reviews, estimating, tendering, bid evaluations, and contract awards.
- Oversee project execution, schedules, forecasting, quality control, and risk management.
- Attend client, consultant, and project meetings, including OAC and operational review meetings.
- Review Project Execution Plans, QC plans, and project procedures to ensure successful delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits and support project teams in resolving construction and operational challenges.
- Monitor project staffing, mentor and develop project personnel, and support performance management.
- Promote safety, compliance,



continuous improvement, and best practices across all assigned projects.
- Support implementation of new technologies and operational excellence initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of building construction experience.
- Robust knowledge of construction management, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, cost control, and project engineering.
- Leadership experience managing teams and multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management tools.

This is an onsite position with a well-established general contractor offering the opportunity to work on large and complex construction projects across the GTA.
