We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a 12-month remote contract. This role will support a team working on the transition from BMC Remedy to ServiceNow . While experience with migration projects is not required, candidates must have strong hands-on ServiceNow development expertise and the ability to build and customize enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, Script Includes, and integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while maintaining system performance and stability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Support enhancements and ongoing development activities related to the BMC Remedy to ServiceNow program.
- Work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall software development experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing and customizing the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and related modules.
- Experience developing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
