From audit and tax to consulting and specialist advisory services, we help clients navigate complexity and seize opportunity with clarity. “Assisting with the preparation and review of various Canadian income tax returns (T1, T2, T3 returns) Work with Tax Managers and Partners to develop and implement tax planning projects including research of tax issues and preparation of memoranda Identify issues and errors with respect to Canadian income tax filings, investigate discrepancies and discuss with managers or engagement partners to develop resolutions Correspond with clients and various government agencies to address and resolve client tax compliance issues Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations Collaborate with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all client tax files and correspondence.
Preparation and presentation of technical sessions to firm staff Provide personal,
attentive service to clients to encourage productive working relationships and identify client service opportunities Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in either Business or Law Intention to enroll or have enrolled in the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course and/or Master of Taxation Course 3 – 5 years of accounting experience, tax experience considered an asset High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware/Caseview, TaxPrep, and tax research software Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management and organizational skills Strong analytical and research skills, and the creativity to identify problems and potential solutions A passion for tax work!
