Our client, a leading organization in the technology and enterprise solutions sector, is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant to join their team. As a ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant, you will be part of the IT Operations Management team supporting infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to collaboration, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant

Location: Edmonton, AB – Work is 100% Remote – Candidates must be eligible to work for any employer in Canada

Contract duration: 5 Months with possibility of extension.

What's Needed?

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly in ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- 3+ years focused on implementing tag-based or attribute-based service mapping and CMDB governance.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud, databases, and hybrid environments, including experience with MID Servers and Service Graph Connectors.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and integrations.
- ServiceNow CSA certification or equivalent experience; additional certifications in Discovery, Service Mapping, or CMDB are preferred.

- Translate approved solution designs into scalable, maintainable ServiceNow implementations focusing on tag-based service mapping and CMDB governance.
- Collaborate with project leadership, CMDB owners, infrastructure, cloud teams, and process owners to enhance service visibility and data quality.
- Configure and support Discovery, Service Mapping, Service Graph Connectors, and CMDB Health to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop technical designs, test plans, operational procedures,



and knowledge transfer materials to support ongoing system improvements.
- Troubleshoot discovery, mapping, integration, workflow, and CMDB issues, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
