Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing menus and answering any initial questions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS when applicable.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently, utilizing time management skills to ensure timely service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, adhering to sanitation guidelines throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.




- Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating basic kitchen experience when required.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.

Experience

- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of food handling practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the restaurant environment.
- Experience in upselling menu items is a plus, along with an understanding of the hospitality industry. Job Types: Full-time, Part time Pay: $17.00-$30.00 per hour
