We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment to the highest standards. Working closely with our Service Advisors and Shop Foreman, you'll help deliver exceptional service while ensuring equipment is repaired safely, efficiently, and to Bobcat's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment with efficiency and precision.
- Perform setup and pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and mechanical systems.
- Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled service work.
- Accurately record labour, parts, and materials for each repair order.
- Complete all required manufacturer documentation and service reports.
- Communicate repair progress, findings, and recommendations with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman.
- Maintain, organize, and care for shop tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Ensure all work is completed safely while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and professional development as directed by the Service Manager.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

- Relevant trade certification required.
- Red Seal Journeyman certification preferred (or equivalent experience will be considered).
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic skills.




- Experience servicing heavy equipment, compact construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or similar equipment is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
