As a Shop Assistant, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the store remains tidy, and supporting daily operations to create a positive shopping atmosphere for all visitors.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, product selections, and checkout processes to foster a positive shopping experience
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store by sweeping, dusting, organizing shelves, and ensuring displays are tidy and appealing
- Restock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are correctly labeled and easily accessible for customers
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with stocktaking activities
- Keep the store environment safe and hygienic by adhering to cleaning protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of customer service

Requirements





- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of hygiene in the store environment
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk around the store comfortably, and lift moderate loads when restocking shelves
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed
- A proactive mindset with attention to detail to keep the store clean, organized, and inviting
