Advocacy Coordinator - Honoraria Reports To Social Issues Commissioner- internal Competencies Communication Organization Ownership Cultural Sensitivity Creativity Collaboration Job Duties Assist in long-term policy research, campaign development, and data driven advocacy to assist SIC & AMS with I-EDIAA across governance, hiring, policy, & student representation Coordinate Equity Caucus & Townhall Facilitate Accessibility Issues Tracker Conduct external research to support strategic direction Respect and adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethical standards Maintain timely communication with your direct supervisor Attend and fully participate in all in person and virtual meetings Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and attentively Strive to foster a warm, comfortable and respectful atmosphere for all Always serve as a representative of the AMS and its mission statement Complete other job duties as assigned Job Requirements Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced environment Work Conditions Interaction and collaboration with coworkers, management, and the Queen’s community
