Step into a Cultural Advisor role with Six Nations of the Grand River, focusing on mental wellness and crisis support. This contract position leverages cultural wisdom to inform crisis intervention strategies. In this role, you will be supervised by the Crisis Hub manager and act as a primary resource for staff, ensuring culturally secure service delivery aligned with Hodinohshoni beliefs.

Your work will facilitate the preservation and promotion of traditional practices, helping both clients and staff enhance their cultural identities during challenging times. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide cultural support and resources to the Crisis Hub
- Coordinate mobile crisis intervention and community support
- Educate staff on Hodinohshoni practices for client health
- Develop and lead cultural workshops and activities
- Collaborate with traditional healers and community leaders Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Indigenous studies or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Cayuga and/or Mohawk languages
- Background in crisis support and cultural knowledge
- Committed to fostering Hodinohshoni traditions
- Valid Driver’s License required Bring your cultural expertise to enhance mental wellness services in the community.
