Role Description The Social Media Marketing Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing social media activities across key platforms. Day-to-day tasks include managing social media calendars, developing and publishing engaging content, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, and monitoring community interactions. The role involves collaborating with content, design, and marketing teams to align social media campaigns with broader brand and business goals.
The Social Media Marketing
Manager will track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and refine strategies based on data insights. This role also focuses on building brand awareness, nurturing online communities,
and supporting lead generation through targeted social and digital initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, with experience managing multiple platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube).
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills, including planning editorial calendars, aligning content with brand goals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Candidates should possess Digital Marketing skills, such as understanding paid social campaigns, basic analytics, and integration with email and web marketing.
Candidates should have proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics or equivalents).
Candidates should demonstrate solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines in a remote environment.
Candidates should ideally have prior experience in finance, business, or education-focused brands, and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
