Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle JD Edwards Solution Architect with deep expertise in Demand Scheduling Execution (DSE), Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Planning within an automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will lead solution architecture, business process transformation, and end-to-end implementation of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

This role requires solid functional and solution architecture expertise with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams, ensuring successful implementation of best-practice manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead solution architecture for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with emphasis on Demand Scheduling Execution (DSE), Manufacturing, and Supply Chain processes.
- Conduct business process assessments, solution workshops, and fit-gap analysis with business stakeholders.
- Design end-to-end business process architecture covering:
- Demand Scheduling Execution (DSE)
- Inventory Management
- Procurement
- Manufacturing Planning
- Shop Floor Management
- Supply Chain Planning
- EDI Integrations
- Analyze current business processes and recommend standard JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions and industry best practices.
- Architect automotive scheduling processes supporting EDI transactions including:
- 830 Planning Schedule
- 862 Shipping Schedule
- 866 Production Sequence
- Other automotive demand scheduling transactions
- Design and govern Inventory Management processes including:
- Item Master
- Branch/Plant Setup
- Warehouse Operations
- Inventory Replenishment




- Lot Management
- Inventory Control
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, Technical, EDI, Integration, and Data Migration teams.
- Define enterprise master data strategy, governance framework, and migration approach for AS/400 to JD Edwards transformation.
- Review and approve:
- Functional Design Documents
- Configuration Designs
- Customization Requirements
- Integration Specifications
- Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Cutover Planning, and Go-Live activities.
- Drive business process standardization and continuous process improvement using JD Edwards best practices.
- Mentor functional consultants and provide architectural leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Present implementation strategies, solution roadmaps, risk assessments, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
- Support deployment, Hypercare, and post-production stabilization activities.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne functional and solution architecture experience.
- Extensive expertise in:
- JD Edwards Demand Scheduling Execution (DSE)
- Manufacturing
- Inventory Management
- Supply Chain Planning
- Procurement
- Shop Floor Management
- Strong knowledge of Automotive Manufacturing business processes.




- Experience designing end-to-end Supply Chain and Manufacturing solutions.
- Hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne configuration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of EDI integrations within automotive environments.
- Experience leading business workshops and solution design sessions.
- Proven expertise in data migration strategy and master data governance.
- Experience managing CRP, SIT, UAT, Cutover, and Go-Live activities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional global teams in a hybrid environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Automotive OEM or Tier-1 Supplier environments.
- Experience with AS/400 to Oracle JD Edwards migration projects.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards Manufacturing modules.
- Experience with Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Optimization.
- Familiarity with Oracle integration technologies and EDI platforms.
- Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives.
