About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer specializing in iOS development to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our native iOS applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver innovative mobile solutions that enhance our customers' banking experience.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead major technical initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and mentor junior team members, all within a fast-paced, agile environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in native iOS application development, with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience working with Swift and SwiftUI. A comprehensive understanding of application design, technical architecture, and full lifecycle development is essential.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience leading and mentoring junior and intermediate developers, providing guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
A bachelor's, master's, or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields is preferred. Additional qualifications include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, familiarity with open-source frameworks, and a solid grasp of agile methodologies. A total of 8+ years of software development experience is desirable for seniority and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities As a Staff Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include owning and leading the delivery of critical components and platform needs in collaboration with senior engineers and architects. You will participate actively throughout the software development lifecycle, from initial design and development to testing, deployment, and support.
Your role involves enhancing software engineering practices within agile teams by designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions across various development tools and technologies. Additionally, you will contribute your expertise on emerging technological trends and their impact on our domain, ensuring our applications remain innovative and competitive. Mentoring junior, intermediate,
and senior mobile developers will be a key aspect of your role, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
