Location: Nanaimo, BCStatus: Full time, Part time, Temporary Contract & CasualHourly Rate: $20.98Schedule: Based on business requirements About the Role Join Alpine's Heavy Duty Cleaner Talent Pool and be considered for future opportunities across our growing operations. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities through a variety of cleaning, sanitation, and facility support tasks. Working with specialized equipment and tools, you'll help ensure our sites consistently meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

Ability to operate industrial and or heavy-duty cleaning machines and equipment; including but not limited to auto scrubbers and sweeping machines, leaf blowers, pressure washers, etc.

Lifting and transporting heavy items or objects

Clean, disinfect, and sanitize high-touch and high-traffic areas to maintain a safe environment

Perform comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and spot cleaning

Clean and maintain all building common areas, including hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, elevators

Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from waste bins on a regular basis.

Spot clean interior surfaces such as walls,



ceilings, partitions, light switches, and windowsills

Complete cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of all facilities, with a focus on washrooms and designated client spaces

Maintain and service client-specific spaces and complete other duties as directed

Snow removal and salting the public walkways What You'll Bring Experience operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, sweepers, or pressure washers is required

Ability to lift and transport heavy items or objects up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis

Experience performing professional janitorial duties in high-traffic public spaces is required The eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s)

Knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) is not required but considered an asset About Alpine
