Our Toronto client is looking for a Tax Manager (CPA) to join their collaborative team. This role is to offer an extensive range of accounting, assurance, tax, and business consulting services to their clients. If you demonstrate a high degree of initiative, excellent project management skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills, this opportunity would be a great fit.

Responsibilities:

- Building strong client relationships

- Prepare for and lead tax audit

- Completion of financial statements and corporate tax returns from source documents

- Preparation of personal tax returns

- Preparation or review of various tax forms including T4s and T5s

- Preparation of review and audit engagements (minimal audits with-in a given year)

- Preparation of personal tax returns from source documents

- Reviewing junior staff's work with a high level of focus on compilation, corporate and personal tax

Qualifications:





- CPA with 5+ years minimum progressive and current experience in a small to mid-size accounting firm

- Ability to build strong client relationships

- 5+ years of tax experience within a public practice firm setting

- Strong audit, review, and compilation engagements experience

- Experienced user of; CaseWare, Taxprep, CCH IFirm, and Microsoft Office products
