I'm looking for a teaching art assistant to assist with children's art workshop series at Burlington Public Library (New Appleby Branch). The assistant will help children ages 6 to 13 with paint by number activities, assist with setting up and cleaning up after the workshop, answering questions, and help create a welcoming setting. Workshops take place from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on weekends.
Compensation is $140 per workshop for approximately 2 hours of work, including a $40 travel reimbursement. This position covers workshop dates including August 9, August 23, August 30, and September 5, at the New Appleby Branch. I'm looking for someone who is outgoing, enjoys working with children, and has an interest in art activities.
Prior experience working with children or assisting with art programs is considered an asset. Interested applicants should submit a resume or/and C.V., along with an art portfolio (optional).

Qualifications/Skills
- Set up paint by numbers workshops for children, from prepping materials to cleanup
- Taught painting techniques to the group while providing one on one support to children who needed extra help throughout each session
- Created a welcoming space where children of different skill levels felt comfortable trying something new
- Outgoing, warm personality while teaching children ages 6 to 13
Pay: $50.00 per hour
