Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Technical Lead- Salesforce Marketing Cloud &

• Data Cloud to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our marketing technology platforms. In this senior leadership role, you will drive execution, improve user experience, and align technical delivery with business goals ensuring the solutions are secure, scalable, and performant. You’ll act as a hands on technical lead, guiding decisions, supporting the team, and helping evolve our platform capabilities over time. The successful candidate must be a natural communicator who builds strong relationships, simplifies complexity, and creates a collaborative, team first environment. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton

Key Responsibilities Drive execution by shaping user experience and aligning technical delivery with business priorities

Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud

Translate business requirements into scalable, effective technical solutions

Provide guidance on design decisions, balancing practicality, performance, and maintainability

Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver business value

Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a bridge between business and technical teams

Communicate complex technical concepts and platform capabilities in a clear, business-friendly way

Ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, risks, and outcomes throughout delivery

Support end-to-end delivery including backlog refinement, solution design, development, and release coordination

Lead or support Agile ceremonies and help remove delivery blockers

Ensure high-quality releases through testing, validation, and deployment practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, integration, security) to deliver cohesive solutions

Mentor and support developers through code and configuration reviews, knowledge sharing,



and guidance

Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and shared ownership

Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement

Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices including security, data governance, and performance standards

Participate in change management (RFCs, CAB) and manage release-related impacts (including Salesforce Trust)

Maintain documentation, platform standards, and operational processes

Manage licenses, access, and platform usage; support governance and billing oversight

Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities in tooling, processes, and platform usage

Support reduction of technical debt and improvements in testing, monitoring, and reliability Core Competencies Required: Deep, hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data 360

Strong understanding of data concepts (segmentation, identity resolution, activation)

Experience delivering and supporting enterprise platform solutions

Solid understanding of integrations, system design, and scalable solution thinking

Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts

Operates with a high degree of independence while remaining aligned with team priorities Education & Experience Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data 360 capabilities

Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

5 - 8+ years of experience in software development, platform engineering, or CRM/MarTech environments

Familiarity with or experience working with Snowflake or cloud-based data platforms,



particularly in support of evolving data and activation use cases

Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams
