Beaches Therapy Group operates three busy, modern clinics in Midtown and East Toronto. As a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, we provide therapy for individuals, couples, children, and families. Our clinics serve a diverse client base in beautifully renovated, welcoming spaces.

We are seeking a Therapeutic Group Co-Facilitator to join our team.

We are launching a D&D; Therapeutic Group Program, a group-based social skills intervention using collaborative storytelling and role-playing games to help children aged 9–12 build communication and collaboration sills, emotion-regulation and self-confidence . We are looking for a skilled and passionate facilitator to bring this program to life.

Start Date: September 2026

Role Description:

The successful candidate will co-facilitate weekly group sessions for children aged 9–12, working alongside a supervising therapist. Sessions run approximately for 90 minutes and take place in-person. T

Availability Requirements:

This role starts at 3 hours per week — covering one group session plus assisting with session setup, materials, and any post-session administrative tasks such as documentation. There is potential for the role to grow as we add current group cohorts throughout the year.

What You Bring

- Active registration with a professional college such as OCT or OCSWSSW and/or CYC diploma is a strong asset (students working towards these or related qualifications may be considered as well).
- Demonstrated experience working with children and/or youth,



including those who are neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, LD etc)
- Ability to provide social, emotional and behavioural support to youth as needed within sessions using trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approaches
- Meaningful personal experience with Dungeons & Dragons or comparable tabletop role-playing games (TTRPG). You must be comfortable running a game as GM.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC), or willingness to obtain one prior to start
- Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start

Additional Requirements:

- Flexibility to work at all clinic locations: Beaches, Leslieville, and Midtown

Compensation:

- $30.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required
